We'd been driving for 5 hours and stopped here because the parking lot had cars in it and we were very hungry. We wanted breakfast but it was after 11:00 so we had lunch and were pleasantly surprised. I had the Durango chicken sandwich and it was good. Hubby had the hamburger and said the bun was fresh and toasted and very good. The waitresses were efficient and didn't try to cross sell everything on the menu. We chatted a bit and found out they had ties to Thousand Oaks, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Oceanside, CA and Colorado Springs, CO. All very swell to us since these are all places we are very familiar with. Anyway, don't pass this place up if you are hungry and traveling because it's a dang long way to the next decent place.

Had really good service. The chicken soup was hot and tasty. Really enjoyed the chili cheese fries

Had breakfast here today. It has a well-used, worn feeling to it. The food was edible but that's it. It must stay in business because there really aren't any other diners in Del Norte open for breakfast. Blecch.

Passing through town on our motorcycle in the rain. Lots of locals, menu even denotes locals favorites. We had green chili stew, a burger, and a chicken with cheese bacon and avocado sandwich. Fries were bleh, but the original on rings were delicious. Too full for dessert, but the pies looked yummy. Service was good and quite friendly. Would definitely stop there again.

Boogies has been around a while. It is seated in just the right spot on your way to Wolf Creek Pass through South Fork, or on your way to the main Interstate headed east. Tourists and locals, (I'm a bit of both), frequent the rather large dining area regularly, and this time out was no exception. Boogies is usually open, which isn't always the case with other places nearby, and the price is right considering the decent fair they serve up in a friendly, family-oriented sort of way. Someone of almost every age was present when I had lunch, and a wide variety of Southwest and American fare can be found on the menu. If you're new, try the green chili - you won't be sad you did. Oh, and the onion rings are good too. ;-) Cheers!

Stopped here for a late lunch after a morning at the Great Sand Dunes. Read the reviews on Yelp and did not have high hopes. Had the nachos for an appetizer, not good. Lunch items included chicken strip basket, my son loved it and my daughter loved the mashed potatoes and gravy. Also had the BLT and Turkey sandwich with green chili as well as onion rings and coleslaw. Nothing spectacular, but okay. Was excited to try the homemade pie, but again just okay.

A person's take on this place will vary a bit depending on expectations. If you expect a small town mom n pop burger and enchilada joint then you'll be pleasantly surprised, like I and two affluent biker couples next to me. Burger was fresh, cooked just right, delicious. Potato salad, well everybody has a preference. I like mustardy, crunchy, onion and celery, tangy and sweet with large red potatoes. This is a light mayo based with large potatoes, very fresh, not sweet. I liked it though. The Banana Cream pie is homemade and good. Coffee was medium regular type. I very much liked it. The little waitress was quick, friendly and personable, even a tad bit charming. Mensroom is old but very clean and kept up. Now another couple was obviously very unhappy apparently at little to no vegan or gluten free options, and then the burger wasn't well done burnt. One of women seemed ok with her food, the other refused to eat her's. Had specific complaints but didn't seem to act unreasonable so maybe it just isn't her kind of place. For me, was the service "totally perfect?" No. Is the place a Taj Mahal? No. But they put out a good meal and they do a good job. You can tell they work hard and they care. I'll be back next trip through.

It's been 50 minutes and we still don't have breakfast. We got our coffee and a cinnamon roll after a short wait but finally got our own silverware. Plenty of staff passing thru the room but never with a pot of coffee. I'm not anticipating any satisfaction with the eggs and bacon.

Driving from Manitou Springs to Durango along 160. Not a whole lot of choices. I might say how surprised I was when we stopped for lunch at Boogies. The waiter was very attentive, our burgers were excellent. I had the salad, the greens were fresh & tasty. There was a celebration of sorts, as management had free dessert bar for lunch patrons. Very well done

Good food, waitress new unfamiliar with procedures but eager to please. Lots of locals eat here and that's always a good sign. Ate here several times during 4 day stay. Consistently good home-style fare. Limited menu. Just good basics.

This place was a typical restaurant in a small town. Has a boring menu with typical options on it. But it was good to say the least. I enjoyed my meal and time there. I had a kind waitress both times I went there. It's nothing special but it was alright to say the least. For the price it's probably the best deal you can get for dinner around.

I went with a large group of people, so I was prepared for slower than usual service and came in with a good attitude. The waitress took our drink order and food at the same time. In the mean time a few other tables came in to the restaurant. The amount of people at all these separate tables equaled the number of our party. The waitress took care of all the people who came in after us before us. Some of those tables even had their food before we got our drinks. We had to get up and repeatedly ask for our drinks to be brought out--it took at least 30 minutes. I'm talking cokes & waters--not bar drinks. Only a few people in the group got a refill the 2 hours we were there--i was not one of them. There was a lady standing behind the counter rolling silverware while the waitress was really needing help and did nothing to do so. I didn't have high expectations going into this place and was still disappointed. Bad service and when the food finally did come it was not good. Fail. I paid $20 for water, cold mozzarella sticks, and chicken fajitas. Didn't eat the cold fajitas because the chicken tasted worse than the fake frozen chicken you heat up in the microwave. I have worked as a server for years and I was prepared to cut the place some slack due to the location and size of my group- but seriously--get gas station snacks and drive to a different town.

Totally worth trying Stopped as few options around on the way back to Denver, was pleasantly surprised by the excellent (truly) service, very good food (burger was perfect, I am a bit of a ground beef snob) thin fresh crispy fries, home made pies that are totally legit. Will stop again.

Very over rated in all the magazine and Internet. Over priced and service was just OK. Pancakes were cold and portions are small for the price. I am really struggling to find something nice to say. I don't like ripping a place but I've read a lot of reviews with 4 or 5 stars and there not even close to the experience we had. What really gets my goat is there really isn't much to choose from in the area so you'd think they would want to have a little more pride there service. The staff was friendly slow but friendly. If I'm in the area i would try again cause everyone deserves a second chance.

I have a pet peeve about restaurants that have unappetizing names... oh, say something that reminds you of a nine year old picking his nose. Hey, my usual cappucino shop didn't open until 9 am (this time I forgive them because I love that place) so I had to get breakfast. Strategy: pick the place with the most cars in the lot. I ordered two poached eggs on top of the huevos, with the green chili on the side. The waitress was a pro, didn't hesitate and didn't get annoyed by the two special requests. She also didn't bat an eye when, after she asked the sixteen year old at the next table, "How do you want your eggs?" he answered "cooked". Oh he thought he was being clever, like his dad's friends I guess. the green chili was good, on the medium to mild side, the biscuit nearly just like homemade, and the grated hashbrowns not swimming in grease. Coffee predictably was like rinse water.

We stopped in this small town, while traveling, saw on a sunday afternoon, a full parking lot, so I figured they must be good. I was entertained by the locals coming in and chatting it up with everyone, including us out of towners. I had the grilled chicken breast on a toasted bun, with avacado, bacon, lettuce tomatoe, my buddy had french au jus, both were delicious and fresh. However the locals were raving and having a full turkey with dressing special that, too heavy for me at lunch, especially when traveling. The waitresses have worked there for over 20 years.

Margarine substance inedible, frozen hash browns and worst part- waitresses dropped a plate of food that they left on floor for more than 20 minutes. There were cereal snacks from the previous guests under the table. Eat somewhere else, like the convenience store. Ham was cold. Well, you get the idea

I would give it a zero if I could.. Don't waste your time and money at this place. The service is slow and the waitress was rude, ours was Taby. We will never return and no one else should either.

4 stars for where it is and what it is. Burgers were great! Good onion rings. Salad bar was minimal. Chicken wrap was below average, with dry tough chicken. Recommend the green chili sauce on burger.
